Events
None scheduled yet. Every event will be listed here the same way: the place, the date, who is leading, what permission covers the site, and where and when specimens are processed. That includes our own collecting days, indoor processing days (dried specimens into tubes, 96 to a plate, at a table with good light, fine tweezers, and a barcode scanner), and the Continental MycoBlitz rounds hosted on MycoMap, once their dates are published.
Collecting is not tied to any event. A well-documented, dried specimen can be sent for sequencing at any time of year; see How to help.
If you suspect a mushroom poisoning: call US Poison Control, 1-800-222-1222, or your nearest emergency room.
